Alison has over 30 years experience working in community, government and private practice settings, and has experience working with a broad range of issues employing the following therapeutic frameworks: Internal Family Systems, Polyvagal, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Trauma Informed Therapies (Including EMDR, Brainspotting, Somatic Therapy).

Alison has spent the past three years working for the Education Department in a Secondary School as a Mental Health Practitioner. In returning to Private Practice she now offers Autism Diagnosis for both Adults and Children and provides therapy to adults and children on Tuesday and Thursdays in Gisborne. Alison also provides Telehealth appointments on Wednesdays.

Alison is a fully registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency, a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc (AAPi) and an Associate
